Lorie's fused glass jewelry is created using Dichroic Glass, making each piece stunning and unique. Cut by hand and kiln fired up to 1450 degrees, the fused glass is cut again, coldworked and fired again. Each firing takes at least 8 hours, with some pieces requiring up to 4 firings. If the piece satisfies Lorie's high standards, they are finished and ready to wear and enjoy.
I enjoy creating pieces of art that are useful as well as beautiful. Plates and bowls are hand washable. I've recently started to create framed wall art to enhance your surroundings.

Each of the glass pictures are hand painted onto special paper and fused between two layers of glass. If the process is not done properly, the painting will burn or create trapped air pockets, destroying the final image.
